Thanks for choosing Sunrise Records, Canada’s Record Store since 1977. We’re working hard to follow the guidelines established by each provincial government, opening when it is safe for our staff and customers to have a protected shopping experience.
We recommend calling ahead to your local Sunrise - staff can have your order ready for when you visit! Pay when you arrive and you're good to go!
**The majority of our Ontario stores are now open again with the exception of the Kitchener-Waterloo region where restrictions are still in place. Contact your local Sunrise to confirm they are open before planning your visit**

We’re stoked to see familiar faces back in our stores but it won’t be business as usual as we work to help keep both you and our rockstar employees safe. You’ll notice some ch- ch-changes:
- Reduced store hours (please call your local store for more information)
- Limited amount of customers allowed in store at a time (including associates)
- Masks are required where mandated by city bylaw and mall rules
- Sanitizing hands before entering the store and handling product
- Enhanced cleaning & disinfecting practices
To remain compliant with these guidelines, we are asking our customers to help us ensure a safe shopping environment for everyone by:
- Practicing physical distancing and keeping 6 feet between yourself and other customers or store associates. Like The Police once said: “don’t stand so close to me”
- We’re encouraging our customers to browse Vinyl, CD, Blu-ray and DVD safely and while observing social distancing
- Reusable Sunrise tote bags are now available for purchase
- Just the tap! Use low contact payment options like credit or debit tap (we’ve increased our tap limit to $250)
If you are experiencing any symptoms, if you’ve travelled recently, or if you’ve been exposed to someone who has COVID-19, we ask that you please refrain from entering our stores.

OUR RETURN POLICY HAS BEEN TEMPORARILY CHANGED.
Our policy has been updated to ensure the safety of our communities while fulfilling the needs of our customers. All refunds or exchanges will be quarantined for 48 hours and disinfected prior to being available for sale again. Items will be honored for exchange/return within 45 days after your local store re-opens. We encourage you to call or email us ahead if you have any questions or concerns in regards to our updated return/policy.
Be sure to bring your original receipt In order to keep this process quick and safe, we ask that you take a couple of steps before you arrive:
- If you are returning items from multiple purchases, please keep items together with their matching receipt
- Ensure that the item is unworn and the original tags are attached
- All shrink wrapped products must be in original packaging unopened
- For defective items, please contact your local store prior to make arrangements

Most music, movies, games and pop culture items (including FYE @ Sunrise exclusives) are available through sunriserecords.com, and we hope you’ll continue to shop with us this way. Free standard shipping is eligible on all orders over $50 before tax, excluding oversized items. Items excluded from free shipping will be marked as so. Free standard shipping is only available for areas where standard shipping is available. Areas currently not reachable by standard shipping include Northwest Territories, Nunavut, and Yukon.
Due to high volumes and busy carriers, fulfillment and delivery times may be delayed. We ask for your patience as we process your order.
